A Touch of Holiday Magic Workshops
Wedding Favours – Trio of Herbs
Inspiration from In The Now Weddings
Very cute and inexpensive wedding favour idea.
Wedding Centerpiece – Artichoke hearts
Inspiration from BV Weddings
I would never have thought of this myself, and if somebody had said to me use artichokes as table decorations I would have thought them mad, but this is beautiful.
Hearts and Hands Workshop

I had the day off yesterday and attended a Hearts and Hands workshop. It was loads of fun.
Sandra and Marianne talked to us about their “off-the-beaten-track” travel adventures (of which they’ve had 12!) to India. Then Daniel, a chef and nutritionist, showed us how to prepared a delicious Indian curry and Apple and Mango chutney. It was all absolutely yummy. While Daniel finished preparing lunch we went on to a surprise pottery project. Sandra, a renowned potter, took us through the process of making our own terracotta clay incense burners and I can’t wait to see how they all turned out.
Dagma and Lundi, the brains behind Hearts and Hands, inspired us with some ideas for a ‘Curry Evening’ dinner table. So easy to do, yet so beautiful.
All in all, it was a wonderful day and went by way to quickly. I’m already looking forward to the next workshop on 19 June. I will keep you all updated with details for the upcoming workshop as soon as I get them.
Wedding Inspiration – Wonderfull Wheat
I love the colours of these centerpieces. And this won’t cost you a fortune to get right. You can get your bridesmaids together and you guys should be able to get these done fairly quickly. Also because you’re not relying on fresh flowers you could do it a couple of days in advance.
