I would never have thought of this myself, and if somebody had said to me use artichokes as table decorations I would have thought them mad, but this is beautiful.

I love the colours of these centerpieces. And this won’t cost you a fortune to get right. You can get your bridesmaids together and you guys should be able to get these done fairly quickly. Also because you’re not relying on fresh flowers you could do it a couple of days in advance.

I love colour and think this is fantastic. So bright and happy. My only concern would be the harsh South African Sun. I wouldn’t do this out in the open and would definitely get a marquee.

I have no idea what these flowers are called but I think they’re gorgeous and so unusual for a centerpiece. If anybody knows the name please post it in the comments. Excellent for a rustic or fall wedding.
