Hearts and Hands Workshop

I had the day off yesterday and attended a Hearts and Hands workshop. It was loads of fun.
Sandra and Marianne talked to us about their “off-the-beaten-track” travel adventures (of which they’ve had 12!) to India. Then Daniel, a chef and nutritionist, showed us how to prepared a delicious Indian curry and Apple and Mango chutney. It was all absolutely yummy. While Daniel finished preparing lunch we went on to a surprise pottery project. Sandra, a renowned potter, took us through the process of making our own terracotta clay incense burners and I can’t wait to see how they all turned out.
Dagma and Lundi, the brains behind Hearts and Hands, inspired us with some ideas for a ‘Curry Evening’ dinner table. So easy to do, yet so beautiful.
All in all, it was a wonderful day and went by way to quickly. I’m already looking forward to the next workshop on 19 June. I will keep you all updated with details for the upcoming workshop as soon as I get them.
Apologies
I need to apologise to you all. It’s been quite some time since I last posted but things have been terribly busy at work and I haven’t had a spare second for my site.
I’m going to make an effort now to start updating daily.
Trip, hand, window, stitches
Just a quick apology for my lack of posts over the last week. I managed to trip over my dog and smash my hand through a window. Luckily there doesn’t seem to be any permanent damage and I can use my hand again. Will start posting today again.

I love everything about this photo. The magnificent chandeliers adding a touch of sparkle and frost to a winter themed wedding. And the warm fur covered chairs just adds that something special.
